Introduction to the structure of the internal and external circuit boards of air conditioners

1. Internal unit circuit board structure
In technical documentation, air conditioning circuit boards are commonly referred to as PCBs. Generally speaking, the circuit board of an air conditioner is located in the indoor unit. However, due to the different sizes and functions of the air conditioner, some external machines also have circuit boards, and some internal machines also have multiple circuit boards, which are usually connected by connectors.
(1) Single board circuit air conditioner

In addition to this main circuit board, the air conditioner usually has a small circuit board indoors. The main circuits in the small circuit board are the display light circuit and the remote control receiving circuit. There are several wires connected between the main circuit and the small circuit board through connectors.
(2) Dual board circuit air conditioner
The air conditioner dual board circuit refers to the air conditioning circuit mainly composed of two circuit boards, one of which is mainly the control circuit, generally referred to as the computer board; Another main component is the power supply circuit and signal drive circuit, commonly referred to as the power drive board. Two circuit boards are connected through multi-core connectors, and the main functions of the connecting wires are DC power supply and control signals.
(3) Remote control and indicationCircuit board
Ordinary air conditioners have remote control and indication functions. Generally speaking, the remote control receiving and indicating function circuit is made into an independent small circuit board, which is connected to the main control circuit board with several wires. There are mainly remote control receivers and several light-emitting diodes on the circuit board, which are commonly seen in hanging up.
The function of the remote control receiver is to receive signals sent by the remote control and give them a CPU after conversion. The LED generally has three types: red, green, red, green, and yellow, mainly used to indicate the power status, compressor operation status, and other related operating states.

(4) Air conditioning circuit board with display screen
Air conditioning circuit board with display screen is very common in cabinets, and a few hanging machines also have display screens. Generally speaking, the internal machine consists of two power boards. One is a controller composed of control circuits, power circuits, signal drive circuits, etc., and the other is an air conditioning circuit board with a display screen.
The air conditioning circuit board with a display screen mainly includes internal circuits such as display circuit, remote control receiving circuit, button matrix power supply, etc., which are connected to the main control circuit board through multiple wires. For air conditioning circuit boards with display screens, some air conditioning control circuits are also made on the display board.
Ordinary display screens generally have LED digital tube displays, LCD liquid crystal displays, VFD English light displays, etc.
2. External unit circuit board structure
In addition to the internal unit circuit board, the external unit of the air conditioner will also be equipped with external circuit boards according to different control circuit structures.
